Attic storage – If you are like most people, you probably have too much stuff in your home. You do not want to waste anything because you “may have a use” for a day. If your wardrobe storage space is exhausted and your garage is so full that you cannot even park your car, then it may be time to look at some wind storage ideas. Using your wind to store unwanted items is perfect because the windshield is unused anyway. Most winds are quite large, so your storage potential is very large as well.
Access Attic
When you choose to use your wind as attic storage space, the first thing you think about is how to get to your wind. Some homes have small roof panels accessed outside the garage or in the wardrobe ceiling in one bedroom. You must look at your opening size and think about what kind of items you want to save in your wind. You can choose to install a wind ladder so that you have a larger opening point for the wind access.
Attic and storage
Winds usually consist of 2 inches with 6-inch roof beams and have no floors installed. Attic storage is easy to install some 4-inch with 8-inch sheet 3/4 inch plywood in the vicinity near the ladder. Now you can safely walk on the floor of the wind and can start storing your items on the floor section covered by plywood. Be sure to select all the boxes so that you know what’s inside of them. Items stored in the wind will get dusty, so you might need to cover more valuable items with heavy plastic or tarpaulin usage.
